Environmental/Marine Science (EMS) is the study of the importance in utilizing and sustaining our natural resources, in a manner that we will not exhaust or deplete them in the future. It’s an approach to your education.  We want to see you do more than take classes; We want to see you be somebody.  The program is an environment that teaches you ways to help maintain Palau’s resources for today and for the future.

Studies

             In many colleges, you either swim or sink.  And should you sink?  Well, maybe you aren’t college material.  Talk to our students and faculty-you’ll see everyone looks after everyone else.  People want to know if you’re okay, and want to help you do better if you get bad grades.

 

Instructors

             The program instructors will engage you in exciting class lectures as well as laboratory projects.  As the mission is teaching, you are assured of instructors who can teach, who can relate to you, and who can help you transfer classroom knowledge to the outside world. 

 

Degree

             With an Associate of Science degree in Environmental/Marine Science, you’ve found a place to further your interest.  And from there, you will work your way into a wider diversity of career opportunities in the progressive, challenging, and very much stimulating field of science.  So look no further than through a microscope.  You’ll be amazed at what you will find.
